Copperstone update!!   The complex looks like it will be magnificent when it is completed, although it has been a bumpy ride to get there.

The most recent event was obviously the fire effecting the building 2000. I want to thank all of my clients who have shared information with me from the developer POV regarding what will happen next. It sounds like very shortly here we will all be getting the latest amendment to the disclosure which will obviously disclose the fire as well as push back all the outside dates.

The developer has said they will honor all contracts and that none of the buyers will be affected negatively at all. The biggest concern that we are all waiting for is the completion dates for each building. I would assume that if 3000 and 1000 were allowed to complete earlier than 2000 then all buyers would be expecting to move in by year-end?? However, we need to wait for POV's next press release in order to determine that.

Work continues with the insurance adjuster, trades and personnel on site to remove the debris and resume work on buildings 1000 and 3000. An action plan is being prepared for occupancy timelines for buildings 1000 and 3000 to be presented to the city of New Westminster. Further testing of the structure is ongoing on building 2000 with professionals to determine the best course of action for rebuild.
